Fall 2017-Spring 2018

At the Memphis Brooks Museum of Art, I assisted in accessioning over 200 textile fragments into the permanent collection.

Archival duties included handling the fragile fabrics, taking measurements and photographs, assessing condition, documenting fabric type and style, and creating object entries on The Museum System (TMS).

Dates ranged from the 17th century to the 1980s, with an emphasis on 18th century brocades and 19th century Japanese silk.
