Vitreographs: Collaborative Prints from Littleton Studios

November 19, 2022 - January 29, 2023

Fort Wayne Museum of Art

Fort Wayne, IN

In addition to the unprecedented innovations Studio Glass movement founder Harvey Littleton brought to hot glass in the 1960s, he also developed glass as a printmaking matrix. This process, known as vitreography, has contributed significantly to contemporary printmaking.

Bridging the Fort Wayne Museum of Art's two largest collections, glass and prints, I curated this exhibition in collaboration with John Littleton and Kate Vogel, exceptional glass artists and son and daughter-in-law of Harvey. The exhibition features experimental prints from over 20 diverse artists, including sculptors, painters, printers, and glass artists.
