Vitreographs: Collaborative Prints from Littleton Studios

November 19, 2022 - January 29, 2023

Fort Wayne Museum of Art

Studio Glass movement founder Harvey Littleton also developed glass as a printmaking matrix. This process, known as vitreography, has contributed significantly to contemporary printmaking. The exhibition featured experimental prints from over 20 diverse artists, including sculptors, painters, printers, and glass artists.

Bridging the Fort Wayne Museum of Art's two largest collections, glass and prints, I curated and led content development for this exhibition in collaboration with John Littleton and Kate Vogel, exceptional glass artists and son and daughter-in-law of Harvey. I learned much about printmaking processes, coordinating extensively with Sachi Yanari-Rizzo, Curator of Prints and Drawings.
